To The Curiosity Of The Cat

There is so little that
Cannot be conquered by a cat
His gentle paws will see him through
As he looks for things to do
Should he see a door that's closed
He decides that he must poke his nose
Behind to see there what is hidden
Could it be a secret din-din?
So determined is this cat
That he decides to fly much like a bat
And throw himself against the entrance
As though in some hypnotic trance
And this the noble cat shall do
'Til the door is opened and he is shoo'd!
